However they do engage in a trivial conversation about Mongolia and their alma mater during the surgery to keep their minds off the stiffing back aches.

Reaching the Heart of the Taiga: Dr. Boldsaikhan's Expedition to the Rainbow Village
In the fall of 2019, Dr. Boldsaikhan embarked on an expansive expedition to remote Taiga villages, providing vital check-ups for residents, even navigating horseback crossings. The journey's impact was profound, exemplified by Mrs. Buyandelger's return and the subsequent transformation in the perception of healthcare among the Tsaatan community. Amid these heartwarming encounters, a 62-year-old woman from West Taiga underwent successful heart surgery, while two Tsaatan youngsters received essential treatment sponsored by Dr. Boldsaikhan's classmate, Battsengel.

Dr. Bundan's name, meaning 'Heart,' takes on profound significance as he leaves an indelible mark in Mongolian medicine, earning the title of 'THE heart specialist.' His legacy is perpetuated by his son, Boldsaikhan, an accomplished heart surgeon known not only for his skills but also for his diverse contributions to society. While his reserved demeanour may hint at distance, those close to him recognize the depth of his character and the profound responsibility he bears in caring for our most fragile hearts.
