Resilience and Strength: Fahima's Journey with Congenital Heart Disease
Fahima, a beautiful Afghan lady, was born with congenital heart disease (CHD). Despite her condition, she went on to have six children like any other Afghan woman. Her family approached many hospitals for treatment, but to no avail.
Just before her surgery, when her husband asked if she was afraid, she replied without any hesitation: "I have come this far with the help of these people, I shall not be afraid of anything."
She is indeed a powerful woman and mother of courage and resilience in the face of adversity. Fahima’s unwavering spirit is an inspiration to us all.
