Milestones in 'Hearts Remembers': Successful Heart Surgeries for Kyrgyz Children in Mongolia

We are happy to share the good news that the second delegation of Kyrgyz children has come and undergone heart surgery successfully in Mongolia. The Head of the Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia Stefanie Burri met with the Kyrgyz children and their families and thanked Cardiologist Boldsaikhan Bundan and his team. The Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia and the Bundan NGO are jointly successfully implementing the “Hearts never forget” project for diagnosis, treatment, and heart surgery programs for children living in high mountain and remote rural areas of Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, North Korea, and Kazakhstan. Within the first phase, around 2,000 children were examined and more and more children were operated.
