Over the past week, 10 heart surgeries were successfully performed at Songdo Hospital, three of which were particularly complex and required high-level expertise.
These surgeries included the complete reconstruction of a patient’s natural aortic valve, replacement of the aortic root with an artificial graft, reconstruction of the patient’s own valve, and the restoration of coronary arteries with a coronary reimplantation procedure. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and precision of the surgical team.
Post-surgery, the patients are reported to be in stable condition. Recovery is progressing as planned, and they are expected to be discharged starting from the first day of the coming week.
