Bundan’s Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Program for Bhutanese Children

Following the initial medical examinations and comprehensive echocardiographic assessments, Bundan NGO extends an official invitation to Bhutanese children diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), along with one accompanying parent, to undergo open-heart surgery in Mongolia.

While the Royal Government of Bhutan provides a limited number of free heart surgeries for families at referral hospitals in India, the lack of surgical facilities in Bhutan leaves many children without access to life-saving medical interventions.

To address this urgent need, Bundan has committed to covering all associated expenses, including travel costs. All medical and surgical expenses will be fully funded by our organization, ensuring that these essential procedures are performed free of charge for Bhutanese children in need.

This initiative reflects Bundan NGO’s mission to provide life-saving pediatric cardiac care, strengthening international cooperation in the field of healthcare.
