Bundan NGO Welcomes Recovery of Second Group of Bhutanese Children and a Young Patient from Kyrgyzstan

Under the ongoing efforts of the “Heart Remembers” Project led by Bundan NGO, a second group of children from Bhutan and a young Kyrgyz boy from Issyk-Kul have successfully undergone life-saving heart surgeries at UB Songdo Hospital in Mongolia.

The children are now in full recovery and are preparing to return home. During their stay, they developed strong friendships with Mongolian children and caregivers, playing joyfully together and adapting warmly to their temporary home.

The visiting families have expressed heartfelt gratitude for the care and compassion shown by Mongolian doctors and nurses, describing the people of Mongolia as kind-hearted and nurturing. While they found names like Byambasuren, Ganchimeg, Khashchuluun, and Enkhtsetseg long and difficult to remember, they shared, “We will never forget Mongolia or its people.”

This emotional moment reflects the power of international cooperation and compassion in providing hope and healing to children with congenital heart conditions.
